Thanks for the info. I'm not sure where I got the idea that he wasn't the first Upchurch in America. I have read so much information and it could all be running together. I also have 2 Michaels in my line of Upchurch's so that confuses me too.

Your correct in that I was looking for the name of the ship he arrived on. Apparently there is a website you can input this information on and pull up passenger list, per my daugher, and that is what her class is doing.

I've been reading about this Upchurch Bulletin, is this still available and if so who do I contact regarding it?
