Can anyone further identify the two Upchurch boys living with William Thompson in this household in Washington Township, Lawrence County, Arkansas, in 1860?

I think William W. Upchurch, 4 in 1860, may have been the head of this household in Washington Township, Sharp County, Arkansas, in 1880:

I’ve considered the possibility that someone made a transcription error and that 1860 head-of-household William H. Thompson may actually have been the Alabama-born William C. Thompson reported to have married Martha Jackson, a daughter of Matthue Avery Jackson and Eliza Jane (Gay) Jackson, in 1860.
Between 1850 and 1860, Matthue and Eliza Jackson had moved their family to Arkansas from Obion County, Tennessee. They settled in a part of Lawrence County later ceded to Sharp County.
I’m trying to figure out any kinship connection between William H. Thompson/William C. Thompson and the Upchurch boys, learn who the Upchurch boys’ parents were, and determine if they might link to the Upchurch family of Franklin County, North Carolina.
My maternal grandmother was a Jackson. Her family moved in stages from Franklin County, North Carolina, across Tennessee, to Sharp County, Arkansas. In Franklin County, her Jackson family was tied by marriage to the Upchurch, Gay, Bowden, Collins, Curry, Evans, and Stallings families, among others.
I suspect there may also have been a tie between my grandmother's Jackson familiy and Virginia-born Matthue Avery Jackson (1804-1880), who was reported to be a son of of Binns Jones Jackson, Sr., and Mary (Turner) Jackson. If so, the link between Matthue Avery Jackson's branch of the family and that of my Jackson grandmother appears to have been in Virginia, not North Carolina.
Further identifying the Upchurch boys might give me more puzzle pieces, or leave me more confused than I already am.
