Hi Doug,
Great hearing from you!!Yes, it's been quite some time now. We're all hanging in there, mom and dad are doing just fine.Robert and Pat are expecting their fourth child next year.I'm still at one, and he's 12 now.I wish we weren't so far from each other, so we can visit with one another.Everyone's just growing up too fast, and getting older too fast!
Anyways, your question in reference to where the Untalan name comes from.Well, from what I gather that it comes from the Philippines, but alot of the names are derived from Spain, as well as names from here on Guam.My dad told me that you have in interest in putting a geneology together.Since I've been staying home, I've had that interest too.I wanted to put it in a booklet form, with stories and pictures for our 1999 family reunion that we had for the Jesus DeGuzman and Micaila Adriano Untalan tree, but man, these Untalans are very tight with their money. It wasn't in the budget, so the planning committee says.Anyways, if you want a video of the reunion, you can ask Maria Aguon, auntie Mariquita's daughter. She took lots of videos and pictures that day.I just don't know where to begin to put one together. My dad received a lot of faxes from the University here, and it's amazing what they've come up with.
I can go on and on and on and on.But, my son keeps bothering me.Gotta go.Now you know where to find me, keep in touch.
Our love to you and your sister,
Adios Primo,
Frances
