Would appreciate info. on Katherine, dau. of Peter UNRUH and wife UNK.
Info. I have received in past years is, that she was born ca 1818,in village of ANTANOFKA.
Who were her parents?, siblings? When did they come to Russia? Did any of her siblings come to America?
Katherine came on the ship Kennelworth, January 9,1875,
with her husband, Peter H. JANTZ some of their children.
Would really like to learn more abt. Bernard JANTZ(who md. Susanna UNRUH) and Susanna (who md. Benjamin B. BECKER), would really like to hear from their descs. as the might possibly have more info. on early UNRUH family history.
I have the early JANTZ history, and the names and dates of her children. I am descended from her (5th) child,
Benjamin P. JANTZ and his wife Helena KOEHN, and their dau. Katherine who md. Peter SCHULTZ (Abraham, Samuel).
The above mentioned family settled around Lone Tree twp., McPherson County, Kansas, then some came on to Meno, Okla. area. Benjamin's older sister, Helena JANTZ also md.
a Peter SCHULTZ, they are buried in the Dundee Cem.,in
Barton, KS.
Would really appreciate hearing from this line.
