I am hoping to find someone familiar with the Peter Unruh family reunion committee that produced and published "The Peter Unruh Genealogy 1675 - 1981". There was a first edition in 1941, second edition in 1959 and the third edition in 1981. Has there been another update?
Do the Unruh families still hold a family reunion?
At the 1978 reunion it was decided the book would be updated for the 1981 reunion. Mrs. Ella (E.J.) Schmidt had the task of gathering the material and the following were on the genealogy committee:
M/M Milton Schmidt
M/M John W. Unruh
M/M T. P. Nikkel
Mrs. Pete Newfeld
M/M Adolf Bartel
Erna and Bernice Janzen
M/M F. D. Goossen
Elsie Flaming
The 1981 preface was written by Melvin D. Schmidt of Wichita, Kansas in Jan. 1981.
