Hi Kelly,
I may have some information for you. My grandmother was an Unger. Her name was LaVonna b. 15 Jul 1903 in Latty, Ohio. Married Robert Ludlow. Her father was George Unger, b. 1 Nov 1862 and died 24 Sep 1939. George married Alice Cave, b. 11 Nov 1863. d. 8 Mar 1940. They had 8 children: Leota, LaVonna, Knowles, Ellsworth, Pearl, Eva, Flo and Della. Does any of this help? I don't have any further info on George Unger's parents, etc. Perhaps we can help each other. They were all from the Van Wert/Allen County Ohio area. It seems there may be a fit here.
