joseph ungari (my grandfather I was named after) came from Bari, Ital in the early 1900's to USA...I have not visited Bari yet! Original name was most likely Ungaro, a name originating in Hungary from what I understand..the name means "man from Hungari).... (ungaro is masculine version of ungari)...that's all I know!
