Looking on info on my grandfather. He passed when my dad was only 12 or so. My dad remembers his grandparents being John A. Underwood (J.A. Underwood/Dr. J.A. Underwood is what I have also found) and Anna M. Barbee. I am finding info on the Barbee side but nothing on the Underwood side.
When talking to my dad he told me his dad had two brothers Heber Underwood and Barbee Underwood. I have also found through another site there to be a Cora Lee but haven't confirmed this. There is also an Anita Underwood who I beleive to be my great-aunt so I guess that is another sister. She passed in 2005 and lived in Louisiana.
My grandfather was married to Nona Ruth Kinder, her father was William Kinder (W.W. Kinder is on his gravestone)
