Good Morning Lou; You must be from DA Underwood line. The Henry in Montgomery was married to Rachel Wells, Henry died 1820/2 Rachel re-married and moved to Alabama, Henry's son Jesse listed as being born 1814 Montgomery Co. NC. Have no idea who Joseph was yet. Henry from Samuel& Anna Travilla Underwood that goes back to Thomas 1622 who came to America in 1650, this is my line. There is some info in LDS that states Isiah son of Alexander & Rachel Holt Underwood, census 1870 has Rachel still living. John Underwood probably brother of Alexander. Also birthdate listed as 1820 for Isiah, also Isiah listed as 30 year old on 1850 census.Have a great day, Rev. James U. P.S. My DNA is 2 points different from Jonathon Underwood who is from Isiah line, I believe you know him.
