Here's what I have, working backwards out of a geneology book.I'm not sure if this is the same line, I hit a dead end of the connection between John & my ancestor Sampson, because of the possibly faulty tie btwn Benoni Underhill and Sampson.
Wm Conqueror
son: King Henry I of England
dau: Matilda of Enland
son: Henry II PLantagenet
son: John I of England
son: Henry III of England
son: Edward Longshancks (I) of England
son: Edward II of England
son: Edward III of England
son: Thomas Plantagenet, K.G.
dau: Anne PLantagenet
son: Humphrey Stafford
son: Humphrey Stafford
son: Henry Stafford, K.G.
son: Sir Edward Stafford, K.G.
son: Lord Henry Stafford
son: Richard Stafford
son: Roger Stafford
son: Thomas Stafford
son: Samuel Stafford
dau: Patience Stafford
dau: Bethia Howland
son: Nicholas Bragg
son: John Bragg
son: Geo. Southwick Bragg
dau: Mary Taber Bragg (m. Amos Underhill, desc. of Sampson Underhill)
dau: Mary Ellen Underhill
Mary Ellen (called Mary) was my g-g-grandmother.
This must be a collateral line, as it comes into the Underhills by marriage. But, with as many children as people had back in the day, Mary Taber Bragg and Amos could have quite possibly been cousins way back.
This list is probably due to some error, as in the Stafford line (with all the Humphreys) there was probably some tie up...I've seen different info than I have other places, and is probably subject tothe newest info. :-)
Good hunting!
