I have been reading all these messages for the past few years. In all these I cannot make a direct connection to my mother's father ARTHUR Unangst, whose father was ELIJAH unangst, whose father was JACOB unangst.
Arthur--B.April 18, 1862--D.Sept 10,1937. Lived in Warren Co. N.J. Married--Jennie Walters
Elijah--B.May 22, 1825--D.June 19 1883---Lived in Warren Co. N.J. Married Elaine Sleight (Laney)
Jacob--Born(about 1800?) Lived in Pa. --Married Elizabeth ?
Have seen some Jacob's listed but haven't been able to find who HIS father was. I read in an older query that George Heinrich Unangst B. 1723 was listed a son Peter(who I read a lot about) and another son Jacob ( B.1789 D.1839) Could this be my Jacob? Does anyone know this Jacob's decendents?
Would be happy to hear from someone having anything.
