Daniel Umstead was born in Limerick Township, Montgomery Co., Pa.on 6 Nov 1819. He married Leah (nee unknown) between 1845-1847. She was born 27 Aug 1825. Daniel died 7 Mar 1870 in Phila. and Leah died 14 Mar 1899 in Pottstown, Pa. Their children were:

Ida, b.26 Dec 1861, d.4 Aug 1863
Emma Florence, b.3 Dec 1865, d.1942
I am seeking information on parents of Daniel and ancestors of those children you lived apparently to adulthood, except for Emma Florence Umstead. Currently reading 1850 and 1860 census microfilms of Montgomery Co, Pa. and will have information on all Umstead. etc. spellings for Montgomery Co. for those two census years.
