UMPHRIES/HUMPHRIES: MO > TX; 1840/1850

The HUMPHRIES I am researching are:

Rachel HUMPHRIES (may be her married name); b. abt. 1830 in MO; moved to Texas by 1850

Julia Ann HUMPHRIES b.1844 in MO; moved to TX by 1850

N.A. HUMPHRIES (may be her married name) b. abt. 1848 in TX

I do not know what county in Missouri these HUMPHRIESes came from, but I found them in the 1850 Grayson Co., TX
census living in the same house as a bunch of other Missouri folks. It looks like a lot of the men of the families were
conspicuously absent. I wonder where they were!

The other surnames of people living in the same house in 1850 were: JIMERSON/JAMISON, SAVAGE,
OSBURN/OSBORN(E), FRY, and FOX.

I know that Allen and Catherine (SAVAGE) JAMISON were from Polk and Dade Cos. in MO, so perhaps my
HUMPHRIES were from there too. I haven't been able to find anything toward positive proof of this though.

If you think you may have a lead for me regarding any of these HUMPHRIES/UMPHRIES women or the families they tied
into, please let me know. I would be ever so grateful.
:)
