I know that my grandfather, William E. Umek, was born in Johnstown, PA. His parents came here from Slovenia. I also know that he had several sisters, Ludmilla, Mary, and 3 others that I can't remember. I asked my dad about our last name and he said it the Slovenian equivalent to America's Smith. Does anyone else know anything about Umek?
