I am doing some research for my family tree and ran across your message on Umeks.
My mother, Mary, was born Mary Magdalene Umek on July 23rd, 1946.
Her parents are Andrew Joseph Umek (born October 30, 1918 - died August 28, 1996) and Mary Magdalena Umek, nee Garcia (born April 19, 1921).
I do not know much about Andrew's family history except that he lived in Euclid at some point in time. He also had a brother, Frank, and a sister (not sure of the name) who died of pneumonia at a young age. I also believe that his father's name was Joseph.
