Our condolences, sorry to hear Uncle "Ern" passed away..it's times like these wish I'd traveled up there instead of Waco pursuing leads. I don't see a link for Civil war vet on WFU..but his wifes former husband (a Neal)was a Civil vet.
Also, Have you worked with Veda Brogden, she has the Dye Mound History book, or The Presnall family who has an old Umberson bible ? (From the Presnal/Kellu/Tabor link).
