I am a used book dealer in Illinois and have found an old Umberger family Bible in one of the many piles of books. I doubt that there is any direct connection to your family but thought you might have some ideas. It appears that only one child survived to adulthood so there may not be a connection for anyone. I have a strong desire to link these family records to the right people if possible so would appreciate any help you might offer.
The Bible is a large leatherbound tradition family Bible and contains nine family photo, a marriage certificate and two baptismal certificates. It belonged to Benjamin F. Umberger (b. March 10, 1833) and Margaret Ulrich Umberger (b. Sep 18, 1838 / d. Nov 16,1911) who were married Dec 28, 1865. They had three children listed: John Fox Umberger (b. Jan 17, 1872 / d. Feb 2, 1872), Bertha May Umberger(b. Jan 15, 1885 / d. Sep 13, 1888), and Mary Catherine Umberger (b. Nov 7, 1888).
