HELP !!
For some of you reading this, my search is old news.
But hopefully something will break and I will get a clue if
I post occasionally. Thanks for taking the time to read.
Do you know of any Umbarger's that may have both died leaving a son named Samuel as a toddler, (possibly siblings?).
My g-grandfather, Samuel Lee Umbarger, was born March 5, 1863/64 and was sent to live with relatives in Warren/Coffee Co TN.
Relatives name, Barbara Umbarger, who was daughter of John & Barbara (Pickle) Umbarger (Her daughter - Rebecca Umbarger m. Manuel Nunley).
I'm at the 'Dead End' state, and have been there for quite a while. Any help would be appreciated.
Samuel & family moved around TN and KY as Samuel became a Coal Miner and then a Mine Inspector.
Samuel married Beatrice Louise Rose, and his son, Claude Lee Umberger (my grandfather) married Leta 'May' Dalton. Their son is my father, Richard Lee Umberger.
Note that my grandfather, Claude, changed the spelling to Umberger.
