Steve:I have some information on your family and would be interested in exchanging data.Your family is descended from William Ulrich (b ca 1794/PA & d after 1880/PA) & Eve (MNU; b. ca 1803-04/PA & d. after 1880/PA).William & Eve ULRICH are likely buried as "Mother" and "Father" in a plot of eight graves in the Watsontown Cemetery in Northumberland County PA.Buried with them are son John ULRICH & his wife Phoebe M. and one or two others. This John Ulrich served in the 131st PA Infantry Regiment during the Civil War and was the brother of your ancestor David ULRICH (1845-1915) who married Margaret YOUNG (1844-1894). I have a little more on Margaret's family. This family lived in Watsontown Borough and in the surrounding area of Delaware Township, both in Northumberland County, PA.
1.Wm & Eve ULRICH are listed in the following US Census:
1830 US Census for Potter Township, Centre County, PA
1840 US Census for Logan Township, Clinton County, PA
3 December 1850 US Census for Green Township, Clinton Co, PA
20 July 1860 US Census for Muncie Township, Lycoming Co, PA
3 August 1870 US Census for Watsontown, Northumberland Co PA
17 June 1880 US Census for Watsontown, Northumberland Co PA
2.Children of Wm & Eve included:Eliza/b. 1831, Martha/b. 1835, John/b. 1837, Barbary/b. 1839, Susan/b. 1841, your David/b 1845, and Adam/b 1848.
I am interested in learning more about where this family came from and about the siblings of your ancestor, David.
