I am hoping that someone can help me with some information regarding Fred (b. Sept 1852, d. 1906 Chicago), and Caroline (b. Nov 1857, d. July 1945 Glenview) Ulrich. They came from German/Austria to US in 1884 and resided in Chicago (1719 Clybourne). Children were Gina, William, Fred, Walter, George, plus one unknown child.
What I specifically need help with is discovering a connection to another family. Mathias Kofler came to the US with his wife Maria and son Franz in April 1911. Immigration report states that they were going to stay with Mathias' Sister-In-Law Caroline Ulrich. I am trying to uncover Maria's maiden name and would like to know if Fred Ulrich was Maria's brother (making her maiden name Ulrich) or if Caroline was her sister (then I would need to know Caroline's maiden name).
I am at a dead end here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Obviously, I am willing to share any information that I have to help others. Either post a response, or feel free to contact me by email. Thanks.
