RE: Need information on Banner V. Ulmer, aka "Woolmour" in SC land records later 1700's.

He is listed on a land record with Peter Banner who lived in BArnwell SC in ther later 1700's.

Who was he? I know there was a "Vernor" or "Warner" (went by both names in records) ULMER in SC records. Is this the same man?

Peter Banner was apparently English, b.ca. 1731, and was a schoolmaster. I believe he married Elizabeth Wood of St. Mary's Co MD (according to Carol Mitchell, 1754 in Winchester, VA). Then he was in Craven Co NC before 1784 and then got several land grants in SC and lived in Barnwell/Orangeburgh/Winton SC until he died around 1799 or 1800.

Did he have a daughter who married into the Ulmer family?
Has anyone seen this name before? I found 1 land record in the SC Archives that listed his as "Woomour" and finally figured out it was "Ulmer."

Thanks for any help.
