I am a grandson of the above. He was born in Eisendorf in what was then Prussian Silesia. He married Maria Oed (from Ottersberg, near Bremen) in Altona, Hamburg, in 1882 and they emigrated to New Zealand in 1884 and set up a family. We had a family reunion in 1997 and a history of the Ullrich family, the New Zealand link was written.
Unfortunately, we have not been able to trace any of his family in Germany or Poland where some may be based. His wife Maria Oed had other family members who emigrated to New Zealand (some also went to the USA) and the reunion incorporated her family members. We have been able to locate her family members in Germany and have been able to make contact with each other.
I would be grateful if anyone can assist us in locating family members of August Ullrich.
