My gg-grandfather was Karl August Hermann Kaun, born in Neustettin, Pommern in 1878 and died of consumption in 1915 in London, England when his oldest son was only 10 yrs. old.
Karl's oldest son (my great-uncle) is still living at the wise old age of 97 and I wish to share what little he remembers of his Kaun family in the hopes that someone will be able to connect!
Karl August Hermann Kaun had 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
One sister lived in Berlin, her husband died early, they had no children and she remained a widow. It appears she was wealthy and my great-uncle inherited part of her money. He received his $430 inheritance in 1930 (year of her death)and the inheritance receipt shows it came from the estate of PAULINE ULLRICH (Pauline Kaun m. Mr. Ullrich ??) who lived at "Brunnenstr.93."
I would love to hear from and collaborate with anyone who believes any of the above information matches what they've learned!
