I am related to an Ullrich family from Waterville, OH, but I'm not sure if it's yours. My oldest ancestor is Peter Ullrich, born 1838 in Hueffler, Bavaria. He came to the U.S. in 1865, was drafted into the Civil War when he got off the boat, then settled in Waterville and became a harness maker. He married Sophie Schneider and had 6 children: Rosa (Ullrich) Graf, Julia (Ullrich) Fausz, Anna (Ullrich) Schueren, Albert Ullrich, Carrie (Ullrich) Conrad, and Minna (Ullrich) Zindler. Albert Ullrich died young and had no children, so the name died with him, but the daughters had descendants. Sophie Ullrich died in 1881 and Peter in 1912. Both lived in Waterville until their deaths.

If this is your family, please contact me. I'd love to share info.
