I have information that I copied from an Ullrich family history written by my mother-in-law's gr grandmother. Her name was Louisa Ullrich/Koch, and she was born near Carmine Texas. This document says that the Ullrichs of Washington county descend from Georg Adam Ullrich who was born at Grosherzogthum Baden on 1/25/1834. He came to America in 1854 along with two Aunts and their husbands. They arrived in New Orleans on 12/18/1854. Georg settled near Carmine in Washington Co Tx.where he acquired about 1000 acres. (this document states that it was actually closer to Winedale). Georg married Louise Spies on 6/24/1857 and they had 13 children.One of these children was Otto Ullrich who was born in June of 1875. He married Emma Keatt on 2/1/1900. Most of these folks are buried at La Bahia cemetery and Burkhardt cemetery in Washington County
