This is from an obituary of a hundred years ago found in an Ohio family Bible. (It's not my direct line, so I've only this info.)
Clara Ellen ULLMAN, daughter of Mr. John SHEARER and wife Mary, nee ARNHOLT, was born in Hanover twp. Ashland county Ohio, April 1, 1871. She was married to Mr. Frederick A. ULLMAN, of Washington twp., Holmes Co., March 21, 1895..... She was baptized Zion Ev. church Loudonville, O., April 4, 1896 by Rev. Walter.... She departed this life April 19, 1902 at the age of 31 years.... The husband, father, mother, brother and sister mourn for her....
