Hello,
I have made some minor progress on my Ulibarri line and am hoping someone here might be able to help.
Let's see, my GGrandfather was Narciso Ulibarri ( born abt. 1848 in Variadaro, San Miguel, NM and died in 1918 at Las Conchas, San Miguel, NM ) He had three brothers, Jose de la Cruz Ulibarri ( born March 3, 1852 in Canada de Cochiti, Sandoval, NM ), Juan de Jesus Ulibarri ( born May 6, 1855 in Canada de Cochiti ) and Balrino Ulibarri ( born about 1863 ).
Their father, my GGGrandfather was Jose de Jesus Ulibarri ( born about 1825 in the Tierra Amarilla area, Rio Arriba, NM and died about 1872 ) His wife was Maria Peregrina Miera ( born October 5, 1829 at Canada de Cochiti ). Jose de Jesus' father was Jose Francisco Ulibarri and his mother was Maria Martina Lucero de Godoy. Maria Peregrina Miera's parents were Jose Vicente Miera ( born August 13, 1792 in Mesilla, Santa Cruz, NM ) and Manuela Estefana Hurtado ( born 1763 ).
I have researched the Mieras back to Spain, but haven't had any luck with my Ulibarri line.
Let me know if we have a common line. I sure could use the help.
