Sorry Wes, but I can't find anything about the family moving to Oregon. The following is a little from the book.

The family starts out with Yohannis (John) Ulery marrying Elizabeth Leer and they lived in the valley of Johnstown, PA. They had five sons and 2 daughters. Daniel born 1841 died in 1891 and married Mary Davenport. Samuel born 1812 in Ohio died in 1890 and lived in Indiana. John dob unk..was buried 1884 and lived in Indiana. Levi dob unk lived in Indiana. Jacob dob unk was buried 1883 and lived in Indiana. Susan dob unk married a Stutsman and was buried in 1890 and lived in Indiana. Lydia dob unk married a Cripe and was buried in 1902 and lived in Indiana and listed as the last of these children to die.

In 1818 John sold his farm in Pennsylvania and moved his family to near Dayton, Ohio. Eleven years later, 1831, John sold his farm in Ohio and moved to a farm which is now West Goshen, Indiana. He lived there until his death in 1846.

It seems like some of the family came to California in the late 20's and settled in San Diego, Los Angeles and Oxnard areas. Does any of this connect?

Rita
