Hi! I have Ulery ancestors that came from Pennsylvania to Montgomery County,Oh and then on to Elkhart County, Indiana in 1831. There was a Samuel in this family that settled in Clinton Township, IN and died in May 1890 aged 78 years old. There is a notation in a diary for Samuel and Sarah Ann Ulery being baptized
June 10, 1876. Siblings for the Samuel in this family are Daniel, Jacob, John, Levi, Susan and Lydia. Thier father was Yohannis Ulery that came from Germany about 1790. My ancestor from this family was John Ulery and his son Jacob was born in 1818 (this reference is to give you a time frame for my ancestor). I tried checking census records and only found 3 Oulrey names in Census years 1900, 1910 and 1920 those names being Hugh, Helen and a Samuel( but this Samuel's year of birth would be about 1894). Don't know if any of this helps you but wanted to give you a little background on the Ulery families from Montgomery County, Oh. I have some records I can check for the state of Indiana and can check Census records if you have any other information for names or dates that you would like me to check for you.
