My maiden name was Jacqueline Ann Ulery. My parents are both dead. My mother was not married to my father, but I was told his name was Thomas J. Ulery and that he was an Army Captain in Korea. Since I was born in Seoul in Jan 1948...he had to have been in Korea in Spring of 1947. I responded to your message, because my mother, Virginia Lee Johnston, was also from Ohio. She was born in Bridgeport and grew up in Youngstown. Don't know if this is of any help or not...but since we both have similar first names and there is something of an Ohio connection--I thought I would respond. FYI...when researching years back, I discovered in the LDS library that Ulery comes from a Dutch word meaning 'whale oiler.'
