When I was 12, my mother married Oliver Ulery. This was in 1950, and we were visiting her parents in TX. In Bakersfield, CA, I met his sister (called Pud), must be Beulah; his brother, Jim who had worked in the oilfields of Saudi Arabia, and had several older children. He lived near Lakeside, south of Bakersfield, CA. Another brother was Lonnie (Alonzo?) who owned a cafe in Seal Beach, CA. My mother and Oliver (we called him Al) bought the cafe. Al had children from 2 marriages that we met: From OK was Weldon, Melvina and Rick. From Southern CA was Virginia, and she had a younger sister I never met. These appear to be of the same family that several were researching on this Forum 3 or 4 years ago, Oscar & Bessie's. My mother divorced Al in 1951, not a moment too soon. He liked motorcycles and women, and also worked in the oilfields. If anyone is interested, maybe some of my memories can add a name or two on descendants, or fill in a gap.
