This message has 2 parts:
1)I am looking for information on Mary Zeigler who married John R. Ulery, son of John and Elizabeth (Hawbaker) Ulery originally of Lancaster, PA. These Ulery's moved to Pike Twp., Clark Co., OH c1840. I have info off of Mary's tombstone, but I haven't been able to trace back to her parents.
2)I don't have definite ancestry for John Ulery (married to Elizabeth Hawbaker). Oral tradition has him as a native of PA and his parents as George and Ana, buried in Piqua, OH, but I haven't been able to find this George and Ana in PA. A local history has his (John's) father as Daniel who went back to Wurtemburg, Germany to visit relatives. John, wife Elizabeth and children, including son John R. Ulery walked from Lancaster Co., PA to Clark Co., OH c1840. No mention of John (Sr.'s) parents coming to OH. This family probably ties in with the Stephen Ulery clan somehow, but I haven't found that connection.
