Hi Robert! Sorry it took so long to read this, but moving, working, and having my computer stolen have hindered my research tremendously! What would you like to know about Diama Uland? She married Abner Cassner (Casner), and had 7 children, one dying in infancy. I have names and dates if you want them. I have a lot of info on the Uland ancestors and many descendents, and I've also found info on Sarah Ann Hutchins' ancestry.
Diama (pronounced as if sounding out the vowels "i" and "a" on the first a) was my gg-grandmother; her daughter Ida Embra Cassner was my great-grandmother, and I grew up visiting with her often until her death. I've seen several Uland lists and census' that name Diama as "Diana," but that is wrong. I believe she was named after an aunt named Diama Carmichael (also listed as Diana in census'), who married Elcanah Clarke Hutchins, Sarah Anne's brother. It is probably a very old family name passed down. An aunt who died in 2002, my grandmother's sister, was also named "Diama." Is there anything specifically that you want to know? I don't have much about your line through Sarah Elizabeth...I would be happy to trade info about the family. Thanks, Vicki
