Melissa, I am also researching this family and I have some information to add to yours. I do not have the parents of Michael and Dorthea Uhland or for Adam Nace b. 28 Feb 1770 but there is some posting on World Connect about Adam's parents. The following is what I have to add: 1810 census PA/York/Codorus John Ouland males, 00011 females 00001 (it appears Michael and Dorthea Uhland was living with John. Next in census: Adam Nace males 20010 females 22110 I can not find John Uhland after the 1810 census. Abstract of the York County Orphan Court record, Book M, page 35, dated Sep 17, 1816. by Richard Thomas Petition by Barbara, daughter of Adam Nace late of Codorus Township, by Adam Eichelberger her husband. Adam died Intestate, with two continguous tracts of land in Codorus Township totalling two hundred and twenty four acres... adjacent to land of Yost Runk, Henry Stambach, Jonas Rever, John Dohm, Jacob Rudisell and others. Survived by widow named Elizabeth, and six children namely Barbara the wife of the said Adam Eichelberger, Mary the wife of Jacob Stambach, Catherine, Samuel, John and Adam, last four being minors. Remainder of record discusses how land will be evaluated for division, if possible, amongst widow and children, or otherwise sold. Also of interest, is the will of Michael Uland (signed as Uhland), signed March 6, 1812, proven in York County on Aug 12, 1812. Michael Uland, of Codorus Township passes real and personal estate to his wife Dorthea. Upon her death, land to be sold and proceeds to son John Uland and daughters Elizabeth intermarried with Adam Nace (no names of other daughters listed). Above information from Rich Thomas.
