There is a record of John Uland serving as a Juror for the murder trial of Julius Dugger in Greene County Indiana in 1824. This is interesting because the ancestor of all of the Ulands here mentioned in Greene County is Jonas Uland who died in 1829 on his way to Greene County. His oldest son John was a 13 year old at the time. So who is this John Uland already in Greene County five years previous? Any ideas ?
