Grandmother orphaned 1919-1929. Born in Nowasielka on April 24, 1914. Both parents (Father's possible name Ramon)and siblings killed by Bolsheviks during raid on the town. Adopted by a family in Chicago by the name of Babeno. Her Visa shows she left Riga Latvia August 1929. How she got there we have no idea! Babeno's paid her passage on the Rotterdam. Arrived NY Sept. 21, 1929. Per ship passenger list, she was born in Nowoselka.
Need any information. I have hit a wall!
