From late 18th century to 1921 Kamenets Podolsky was a district in Podolskaya gubernia > Russia. Head of gubernia/state would have been palantine or chancelor???

Kamenets Podolsky Archives was closed after the fire in April 2003 and merged with the Archival department of municipal authority. All fonds were transferred to the State Archives of Khmelnytskyi Oblast.
