Hania's reference is great for finding places. Once you know where they are, you might want to look at them on more detailed topographical maps. Though this site http://www.mapywig.org/news.php is for Poland, it covers that part of northwestern Ukraine that was part of Poland between the World Wars. The maps are also usually from that time period. The map grid is at http://igrek.amzp.pl/mapindex.php?cat=WIG100
These maps, when printed out in full size, are at 1:100,000 scale (1 cm = 1 km).
