Horodysche is an Eastern Slavic place name for an ancient town, originally built w/ramparts. There are many same-named places in Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova and Russia.

In Ukraine there are 36 places w/this name. This coupled w/Mykytenko, a common surname in Ukraine (appx 6,800 in Ukraine today), makes it a little difficult.

Does Pani Paraska remember the region where her ancestral village was located? Was it a large town or small village?
