Which is one reason I am running into walls trying to get information prior to his immigration. I don't read or write Polish,Russion, etc., so I am having difficulty finding out anything. Church records would be good, but I can't figure out under which country the records would be, and if Russia don't know if many records would be available. One of his grandchildren wrote to another family member that he was Polish, only spoke Polish.
