The surname Joryn is spelled Йорин in Russian databases. Denis (son of Wasyl) Joryn is the only one I found in Ukraine. The Ukrainian transliteration would be Йорiн and I found nothing whatsoever using the Ukrainian Cyrillic Alphabet.

Consider contacting Andryj Dorosh, a Volodymir-Volynskij resident and genealogy researcher, who has a reputation for ferreting out information not readily available. He is quite familiar w/Lutsk Archives and is knowledgeable re Vohlyn region, both old and new. If anyone can come up w/some answers for you, he is the one. He is very tenacious and his rates are very reasonable. I recommend him highly.
