Following is all that is left of the only sugar factory in Kordelivka. It stands idle, but it has survived. It was built in 1845 and in the 19th - 20th century appx 60% of the population worked in the production of sugar. A few yrs ago an Ajerbajani company purchased it, but coud not make a go of it. Sugar as a commodity is not what it use to be. Today selo/village Kordelivka is located in Kalynivskij raion (adm district) of the Vynnytska oblast/region. The village was founded in 1760 "w/Latin notes". In the more recent past, this agrarian village's biggest event was the gasification of the village of appx 2,900 residents in 1969.
Up until 1917, Kamenets Podolskij was in Podolskaya gubernia. Since there was a fire in Kamenets Podilskij archives in 2003, consider an inquiry at the Khmelnytska oblast Archives. If anything, they might be able to give you some direction.
