Ukrainian Name Translations
Posted by: Rachelle Leclaire (ID *****7960) Date: April 17, 2012 at 16:21:27

Can anyone help me?
I have my great-great grandparent's Canadian marriage certificate and it lists their parents. The writing is pretty hard to read and the translations could be poor. I think if I knew what I was looking for, it would be easier to pick out the names.
I THINK the names of my great-great-great grandparents are: Prokop Koszlak/Koschlak and Krystina Finko, and Dmytro Bruchanski and Nastia Rordobudka (??).
Does anyone recognize these first or last names, or know how Ukrainians would properly spell them? I Googled "Nastia" and it is short for Anastasia?
These people were from Novosilka/Pidhaitsi/Ternopil.
