In addition to Zlatica's helpful advice, I just wanted to point out that the vast majority of families do not own a family crest, in spite of what you might hear from certain commercial companies that want to sell you one. A family crest typically was only bestowed on noble families (not peasant class) and most often could not be inherited.
So if your family research connects you to nobility, you might find one. Otherwise, you will have to be content to make progress in tracing your origins.
And one last comment. Be patient. Sometimes genealogical research is a slow, drawn out process. I wish I could help you more.
