The village Hushtyn/Gusztyn is in Borschiv District Ternopil region of Ukraine. This is a very good village. I am here more than once (I was born in a village Ozeryany near Hushtyn).
Galicia - the territory now Lviv, Ternopil and Ivano-Frankivsk region of Ukraine.
Until 1918 Galicia was part of Austria, and in 1920-1939 in Poland.

In Hushtyn (Borschiv district) is still living Kushnir, Zaverstovany and Danyluk.
Genealogical information about the family to look in metric books. There are books metric Hushtyn:

P.S. On Saturday I will be in Borschiv Registry Office. I'll try to find information about relatives.
