I have a fiend, Olya, an Australian resident, who recently made a similar trip to the same area in Ukraine. Since you will be traveling w/Mama, Olya will be able to advise you re travel. I can provide you her email and telephone number.
Email me.

Be careful w/your time of travel. The Football Championships will be played this summer in both Lviv and Kyiv. The expectation is that there will be appx one million in attendence.

The church records for Zboriv are available on film in Australia. You should be able to ascertain Mama's house
number in her village in those records. If your time is limited ask Ihor Voronchak to help you out. He could rent the films in Lviv, put together a family tree which you can then present to Mama. His rates are very fair and he does an exc job. Once I check the village for Mama's surname and your Grandmother's maiden name, Ihor can probably make an inquiry on your behalf in the village for any surviving family members and if they had been resettled, where they ended up in Poland.
