The site of the village Ladychyn: http://ladychyn.inf.ua/http://ladychyn.inf.ua/
I repeatedly rode through Ladychyn. This is a very beautiful village. Here the flows river Nishla. Near the village are sulfur springs, beautiful landscape. The village is the old church, the various monuments.
The first historical mention of the village dates back to 1564 year. It's said that the village comes from the goddess of youth and beauty "Lada".
In 2001 there lived more than 1,200 people.
Surname Olga correctly Hrechkovska (not Hrczkowska). Once lived in Ladychyn Hrechkovsky Petro, who died in WWII. Possible relative of it?
Hrechkovsky Petro Vasylyovych was born in 1921. In 1944 the Soviet conscript army, ordinary. Killed in action January 31, 1945. Buried in Shtreze, Poland.
To learn more about the family, you need to genealogical research. The basis for the study is the parish register. I wrote that there are metric books:
In Ternopil archive is a Greek Catholic metric books Ladychyn: Birth - 1876-1908, death 1855-1885.
In Lviv archive is a Roman Catholic metrical books Ladychyn (birth, marriage and death) for 1816-1865.
Metric books later period is in Terebovlya Registry Office.
If you need help in learning metrical books please contact. Next week I will close Ladychyn. If necessary I can help the village and take photographs, try to find a family.
