Many thanks indeed, I had some of that but not all of it!
It looks as if I'll have to pay up. By the way when I ask for certs. and put queries/limitations on them I've never been asked to pay up £3.00 for a useless search.
This of course being the most awkward for me so far.
Is this something new? I usually write to the local registry office although there seems a bit of doubt which the correct one is for Nun Monkton births!
I lioke to be able to sppeak to the office as well.
York, Harrogate, have been suggested plus a place begining with "O" which I can't currently recall!!!
