He married Margaret Lackenby b. Sunderland in 1869. John's father was shown on the wedding cert. as William, a Tailor. It is thought John's mother may be Caroline Cundall b. abt 1822 NM and John was born out of wedlock possibly. I am still searching for the link further back to establish the relationship with US Cundalls decended from the Nun Monkton line, whiom am in contact with! HELP!
