Denzey, London, 1860s

Looking for connections to Edwin Denzey, coal contractor and barge man on the Thames in the 1860s to 1890s. Believed to have had 13 children. His daughter, Alice married my gr grandfather, Charles Bowles in London (Rotherhithe) in 1889. Denzey appears to be a very rare name. I have been unable to find any other reference to it. Can anyone help?
